Militant groups
slam two military officers

The National Federation of Sugar Workers, Kilusang Magbubukid sa Pilipinas, Pambansang Lakas ng Mamalakaya and Teatro Obrero-Negros yesterday slammed two military officials for alleged "psychological warfare" statements that are all "lies".

The militant groups were reacting to statements of Brig. Gen. Jogy Fojas, 303rd Infantry Brigade chief, and outgoing Visayas military commander, Gen. Emanuel Teodosio.

Fojas speculated that missing NFSW labor organizer Perseus Geagoni has been eliminated by fellow organizers under the so-called Oplan Missing Link when he knows it is the military behind his disappearance, they said in a press release.

Teodosio, on the other hand, said Geagoni may have ran off with somebody, they pointed out. Teodosio and Fojas know what had happened to Geagoni but are engaging in psychological warfare, they charged.

Those responsible for Geagoni's possible summary execution must face the bar of justice as the law demands, they said.*
