Silay City dart
contest winners named

Diotay Divinagracia and Vicente Castillano posted a win against Lito Dador and Jessie Balleras in the finals to claim the classified doubles blind draw title of the 1st D and G Cup Darts Tournament in Silay City, Negros Occidental, recently.

The tandem of Eddie Banaria and Jojo Evangelista took the second runner-up honors, while Biboy Dalapatan and George Macariola placed third runner-up.

Trailing in the fourth and fifth runner-up places were the pairs of Ronald Absalon and Noel Lacson, and Chad Dalpatan and Joy Dusaban.

The tournament, which was sponsored by Dennis Espino and Grace Acierto, adopted a double knockout format. The Bonifacio Darts Club, an affiliate of the Silay City Union of Darters, organized the darts hostilities.

Meanwhile, an open singles ranking tournament will be staged for the Silay City darters next month. Interested parties who wish to participate in the event may contact Rommel Bagotayao at cellphone number 09196987357.

A regular weekend darts tournament is also being held in Silay City every Saturday. *CIT
