Education grabs third
straight cheering title

The College of Education brought home its third consecutive cheering crown at the start of the University of St. La Salle Sportsfest 2006 at the USLS Coliseum in Bacolod City yesterday.

The Education cheerers gave their department an early head start in the race for the overall championship by posting 60 points with the victory. Aside from the grandslam, Education also snared the Best T-shirt Design award.

The College of Nursing finished first runner-up for 40 points, while former champion College of Arts and Sciences settled for second runner-up to register 30 markers.

The Nursing cheering team also claimed the Best Drum Dance award, while the Artians won the Best Theme and Best College Yell honors.

The College of Engineering settled for fourth place for 20 points, while defending overall champion College of Business and Accountancy settled for fifth with 10 markers. *CIT
