40 joining shooting tilt

About 40 shooters are expected to see action in the 1st La Carlota Invitational-Open Air Rifle Competition at the City Engineer's Office compound in La Carlota City tomorrow.

The competitors, mostly from the Bacolod and host La Carlota Air Rifle Associations, will be vying for the championships in the "open-fight" and "with-optics" categories.

Trophies will be awarded to the winners of the event that is sponsored by the La Carlota City local government, BARA member Gino Castandiello, who also assists in the organization of the tournament, said. Registration fee is pegged at P150 that will include the meals for the participants, he added.
