baseless, malicious'

CARLA GOMEZ

Businessman William Dy of Roxas Avenue, Barangay 39, Bacolod, yesterday furnished the DAILY STAR a copy of the police blotter he filed before Bacolod Police Precinct 8 on Jan. 11 stating that the press statement of Victorias Milling Co. that was reported in the Visayan DAILY STAR on Jan. 7 resulted in "too much shame and discredit" on his part.

Dy said the report that Victorias Milling Co. had filed a complaint against him for the alleged illegal withdrawal of sugar amounting to P750,000 from Victorias Milling Co. is "baseless and malicious."

The report was based on a press statement sent to the DAILY STAR on Jan. 6, by VMC, that said it had filed a criminal case for estafa against William Dy, also known as Wilson Dy, of Bacolod City. moremoremore
