NEPRO-AC elects officers

The Negros Professionals-Athletic Club elected its new officers and board of directors at the West Negros College Covered Court in Bacolod City recently.

Elected were Sonny Petierre as president and Rodulf Lavilla as vice-president.

Also elected were Ramon Rife (secretary), Josan Tayson (treasurer), Erwin Inventor (assistant treasurer), Deoson Ciocon (auditor), Nelson Sedillo (public information officer) and former major Eric Terencio (sergeant at arms).

Members of the board of directors, who are also former presidents of the association, were Jose Torbela, Geofrey Sy, Erwin Inventor, Tayson, Jerry Gonsaga, Nelson Sedillo, Rodolfo Escalona, Joemarie Villanueva, Rommel Teruel, William Descutido and Eric Deloria.

The new officers and directors will have their first meeting for 2006 at 7 p.m. tonight at the Kubo ni Tibo restaurant at the Shopping Center in Bacolod City.

The officers will take up the amendments of their constitution and by-laws, the implementation of strategies to strengthen their membership, and the programs and projects of the club as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. *CIT
