Pizza Hut robbed

The Bacolod police is eyeing an "inside job" angle in the robbery of a foodchain at the Robinson's Place Bacolod in Brgy. Mandalagan at about 7 a.m. yesterday.

Police reports said an unidentified person, or persons, ransacked the Pizza Hut food chain at the ground floor of the Robinsons' Place Bacolod and took the vault of the establishment with about P30,000 in cash.

Bacolod City police director Senior Supt. Pedro Merced yesterday,

said he has directed the Bacolod Scene of the Crime Operations to determine the system of the robbery and take fingerprints from the area. He said the inside job angle is being considered because the mall has security guards for 24 hours.

Everybody who has access in the food chain could be a suspect, Merced said.

Food chain crew member Lucky Cordero yesterday reported to the police that he discovered the chain on the lock of the store destroyed and the vault where their collection was placed missing, police reports said.*DMG
