Recto to ask judge
in Bago to inhibit

The camp of fitness expert Marie Roxanne "Plinky" Recto is filing a motion today asking Bago Regional Trial Court Judge Henry Trocino to inhibit himself from hearing a case filed against her by her former lover for child custody and prayer for protection order, lawyer Rowena Guanzon said yesterday.

Trocino had earlier granted temporary custody of the 15-month-old child of Recto to her former lover in a temporary protection order dated Dec. 23, 2005.

Guanzon said in the interest of fairness, justice and the child she begs Trocino to inhibit himself from the case.

Guanzon said Recto yesterday also filed an administrative complaint against Trocino before the Supreme Court for "bias, ignorance of the law and grave oppression in awarding temporary custody of her minor child" to Peņa.*
