Talisay's New Year's show
For the past three years, Ninfa and Perla L. and I have never refused
the invitation of balikbayan Dr. Rudy and Evelyn Patiño and sister
Linda Serra to watch the marvelous fireworks display in Talisay
City, Negros Occidental. Also constant guests at the night show
and dinner are Mayor Bing and Elsa Leonardia and children.
This year, despite the early rain, hundreds of people trooped
to the streets to witness the aerial show and the Christmas décors,
especially those at the First Farmers building. Kudos to Mayor Ton
Lizares and his staff, and the Talisay government officials for
the fireworks.

opened at 16th Lacson St., Bacolod, recently with Fr. Rolly Discutido,
a family friend, officiating at the blessing.*
