Caro said PCG men had been manning the ports to strengthen security measures, monitor sea vessels leaving or docking daily, answer passenger queries, and prevent security breaches.

Guv: Foreigners to help
develop Oriental Negros

The Oriental Negros government is considering tapping the expertise of some foreign residents in the province to help in the development of the place.

Gov. George Arnaiz said he is now organizing foreigners living in the province, either permanently or temporarily. He said that, in many gatherings where he met them, these foreigners signified their intention to help his administration.

"We can tap their expertise, for example, in tourism, peace and order, environment and others," Arnaiz said. .
