Acting LCR chief, Mary Jean Gumban said the said a one-day free registration is held every year in line with the celebration of the Civil Registration Month which falls in February, a press release from the Cadiz City Hall said.

"The free registration, even for one day only, means a lot to poor residents of Cadiz especially during these hard times", Escalante was quoted as saying.

Gumban reminded those who would like to avail of the offer to bring complete supporting documents for speedy processing of their papers.

For late birth registration, registrants must bring the following documents: Marriage Certificate of parents, Resident Certificate, and any two of the following: Medical Record, Baptismal Certificate, School Record, GSIS/SSS Record or Voter's Affidavit.*
