Master bowler qualifiers named

Alba Puentebella, of Class '59, and Anne Dayot, of Class '82 emerged as the top qualifiers in the battle for the master bowler title in their respective division, of the ongoing Negros Occidental High School Inter-class Alumni Bowling Tournament at the Super Lanes of the Goldenfield Commercial Complex in Bacolod City.

Puentebella piled up 106.26 pinfalls per game to lead the top 10 finishers, while Dayot collected 98 in the women's side.

To give them a tough fight for the master's crown are Felipe Boy Romero, of Class '73; 104.46; Cero Cordova, Class '68, 104.05; Edgar Baldonado, Class '66, 103.30; Hernand Garciniego, Class '73; 103.23; Rod Garcia, Class '66, 102.55; Boni de la Serna, Class '66, 102..40; Noel Tan, Class '83, 101.95; Cesar Sumaylo, Class '82, 101.93, and Francis Divinagracia, Class '73, 101.09 in the men's bracket.

Annabelle Corral, Class '86 - 95.84; Nanette Garciniego, Class '73-78 - 95.25; Eva Khubchand, Class '68 - 95.11; Emilie Fortaleza, Class '59. 93.84, and Jovita de Paula, Class '70, 93.73 in the ladies' category.

The members of the top 10 club will play three games each, and the top four survivors will engage in a do-or-die confrontation to determine the master's champion. Schedules will be announced later.*HLG
