The USLS aspirants' squad of Troy Sarabia drubbed SJI, 103-65, to bring home the championship yesterday, while the Gerome Aledron-mentored BTTHS cagers trounced St. John's, 87-79, to grab the 10-Under crown Saturday.

The SJI stalwarts also had their share of the limelight after registering a 67-66 triumph over their La Salle rivals to snatch the title in the elementary category Saturday.

Luigi dela Paz exploded for 37 points to lead the aspirants' squad of USLS in retaining its championship, while Juan Antonio Henares poured in 16 markers.

Anchoring SJI's offense was Raymund Lacson as he canned 25 points, while Mark Arvin Uy contributed 16 points. In the 10-Under title showdown, 9-year-old Kib Montalbo amassed 35 points to spearhead Tay Tungs' offensive attack as Kim Bayquin shot 26 markers.

Pacing St. John's was Kenneth de Leon with 29 points, while Joshua Co scored 18 points.

SJI spoiled the 30 points of La Sallian Emmanuel Sevilla after Luigi Coo and Allen Dionela posted 15 and 13 markers, respectively, to power St. John's in winning the elementary crown. Backstopping Sevilla in a losing cause for USLS was Lester Laya with 14 points.
