The body of an alleged victim of summary execution was found in Sitio Lucap, Brgy. Mabigo, Canlaon City, Oriental Negros, at about 7 p.m. Monday.

Police identified the body as that of Nady Balasabas, 33, married, of Sitio Lower Tabalogo, Brgy. Budlasan, Canlaon, who had been shot in the head. He was also positively identified by his friends, the police added.

SPO4 Emmanuel Bayona, case investigator, said the victim may have been killed somewhere else and his body dumped in the place.

Bayona said investigations showed that residents in the area did not hear any gunshot from the place where the body was found.

In another report, a bachelor from Amlan town was killed Monday night when a Ceres bus heading for Dumaguete hit the bicycle he was riding along the national highway in Brgy. Jugno.

Samson Ferrer, 48, of Jugno died instantly. The bus driver was identified as Sonny Visitacion, 40, married, of Brgy. Pandanan, Mabinay town.

Police said that Ferrer suddenly crossed the road on his bicycle at Sitio Pondol, Jugno when the bus hit him.*RG
