water disruption

The Bacolod City Water District yesterday announced in a press release that low water pressure to no water supply will be experienced in some portions of its service area due to the breakdown of the Paglaum Well.

Affected areas are: Hermelinda Homes, Paglaum Village, Bakyas, Purok Laurel, Alijis, JJ Gonzaga, PN&B Subdivision, Margen Compound, Purok Himaya and part of Mansilingan.

Estimated activation of the well is February 24, the press release said. Residents/consumers are advised to take necessary precautions to avoid inconvenience.*
