BY CHRISTIAN IRL TAN

MJ Enterprises hammered Crismar Enterprises, 70-44, Wednesday to post its second victory in as many games in the Your Basketball Athletic Club tournament at the Manville Royale Gym in Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.

Dodo Garcia poured in 10 of his 12 points in the second half to power MJ's offense, while Nonoy Pacheco and Nonoy Tan contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively.

In the second game, Ox Builders barged into the win column after drubbing Marjesse, 63-51.

After trailing 21-26 at halftime, Ox Builders employed stifling defense at the start of the third quarter to limit Crismar to a measly 7 points in the period and build a 38-33 advantage going into the fourth quarter.

Nelson Siaco spearheaded Ox Builders with 17 points, while Sunny Tankit and Bong Ibe chipped in 10 markers each.

The triumvirate of Aleph Zaragosa, Maui Carreon and Fred Garcia canned 8 points apiece as Rene Villacanas and Dodoy Rebitoy registered 6 markers each for Ox Builders.

Anchoring the offense of Marjesse was Jun Ballesteros who scored 12 points, while Joenel Anico and Edwin Fregil added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

MJ Ent. raced to a 12-4 buffer to begin the game behind Randy Pudadera's 6 points to keep Crismar for the entire match. Pacing Crismar was the tandem of Limping Hortelano and Jaype Roger who canned 14 points each, while Dennis Adon posted 11 markers. *CIT
