Water, power disruptions set

Water and power interruptions are scheduled today and during the weekend, the Bacolod City Water District said in a press release yesterday.

It also said that low water pressure to no water supply will be experienced by its consumers in Fortune Towne Subd., Fortune Towne Relocation Housing, Cityville, Greensville I, II and III and Capitol Heights from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. today.

BACIWA said that the water interruption is due to the installation of the filtration system at the Fortune Towne Well.

Water supply is expected to normalize once the well is activated, the press release said.

Meanwhile, power brownouts scheduled tomorrow and on Sunday will affect the Calumangan (Bago) and Talisay feeders.

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative said in a press release that CENECO and the National Transmission Corp. will facilitate preventive maintenance of primary poles and line clearing work.

There will be power interruption in Calumangan tomorrow, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. while in Talisay, on Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.*
