Two fetuses thrown away
BY DONALYN GUERRERO

Two fetuses the police believed to be twins were found by four boys in a vacant lot at Rosario-San Juan streets in Bacolod City on Valentine's Day.

The fetuses, estimated to be between three and four months old, were in separate bottles and had been dumped near a garbage can, case investigator PO3 Celito Dullan told the DAILY STAR yesterday. Jorge Ballega, 16, Jeffery Flores, 13, Ricardo Giganto and Joshua Undos, both 14, all of Purok Dawis, Brgy. 14, Bacolod City were scavenging when they discovered the fetuses, and sought police assistance, Dullan said.

He said the fetuses were emitting foul odors and were believed to have been dumped in the area for a week now. The police could not determine their genders as they were already decomposing, Dullan added.

He also noted that one of the same size and have a physical resemblance and could be twins. They will be endorsed to the Bacolod City Health Office for proper disposition, he added.*DMG
