Supercross fires off Sunday

The first round of the Camel Supercross International Championship Series will be staged on Feb. 19 at the Talisay Stadium in Talisay City.

International supercross champions James Robinson of New Zealand and Glenn Aguilar of the Philippines will be showcased in the event that will hold its second round at the Santa Barbara Race Track in Iloilo City.

The event will be open to all motorcross enthusiasts 18 years old and above, but the tournament heads have the right to refuse the entry of participants who do not have identification cards to prove their age, organizers said. The National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association and the International Federation of Motorcycles also support the event. *CIT
