Bacoleņo tops dartfest

Bacoleņo Melvin Adeva registered a 3-0 victory against Meloy Pechera of the Bacolod City Water District in the finals to grab the championship in the February leg of the Open Singles Darts Competition at the Manhole Bar and Darts House in Bacolod City recently.

Edgar Escalaņa of Bacolod City ended up second runner-up, while Talisaynon Jingjing Faisan settled in third runner-up in the tournament that was organized by the Association of Negros Darters and Darts Club.

Bacoleņo Eric Pilpil and Eldy dela Cerna of BACIWA were in joint fourth and fifth runners-up as James Colinco and Bernard Criador, both from Bacolod City, shared the sixth and seventh runner-up honors.

The ranking event, which ends on Oct. 11, is used as a preparation for the MassKara Invitational, where the team of ANDDC will be represented by the top darter in the regular open singles event. Meanwhile, the tandem of Roy Flores and Julius Siason ruled the Doubles Darts Tournament after prevailing over the Jessie Balleras-Eddie Baņares duo in Silay City recently.

Janby Jimera and Biboy Dalpatan placed third, while the pair of Lito Dador and Reggie Fang finished fourth in the competition that was organized by the Silay City Union of Darters and the Pawarat Darts Club.

Chad Dalpatan and Ion Rodriguez shared the fifth and sixth places with the tandem of Diutay Divinagracia and Joy Infante.

Escalaņa teamed up with Alvin Torres to come in the joint seventh and eighth spots as well as the duo of John Nabeces and Dennis Espino. *CIT
