LINGAYEN --- The National Private Schools and Athletics Association Games board of directors has decided to also stage a national meet for private institutions in the secondary level, Dr. Gonzalo Duque, president of the National PRISAA, said Saturday.

"There is no definite schedule yet when the National PRISAA Games for the secondary level will be launched, but the board of directors has already approved the proposal," Duque said.

Duque, who is also the vice-chairman of the National PRISAA board of trustees, said they want to include the secondary athletes in the national meet so that they could already see the potentials of the players going into the collegiate competitions. "That is a very good proposal because the high school players need more competitions to develop their skills," Roger Banzuela, athletic manager of the Western Visayas PRISAA, told the DAILY STAR.

The National PRISAA board of directors is also deliberating on whether or not to include the elementary athletes in the national meet, Duque said.

In case the elementary level will also be staged in the national hostilities, the three meets, including the collegiate and secondary National PRISAA Games, will not be held at the same time because the host may not have enough facilities to hold three competitions simultaneously, he said.

Duque said he will also propose to the National PRISAA board to allow foreign students enrolled in the PRISAA member-schools to play in the national meet. *CIT
