Hold order for
Korean pastor urged
BY CARLA GOMEZ

The Bureau of Immigration and Deportation has been asked to issue a hold departure order for a Korean pastor facing rape and acts of lasciviousness complaints, and had sought the help of the National Bureau of Investigation in serving a search warrant to his countryman in Pamplona town Saturday.

Lawyer Alexander Mirano yesterday said he has asked the BID commissioner to stop Kim Seong Kook, alias Pastor Kim and Moksanin, of Vila Angela Subdivision, Bacolod City from leaving the country.

Mirano said he is seeking the order in connection with the complaint filed by his 16-year-old client for rape and acts of lasciviousness against Kim before the Bacolod City Prosecutor's Office.

Another 16-year-old also has a pending complaint for acts of lasciviousness against Kim before the Bacolod City Prosecutor's Office, Mirano added.

Based on information received, Kim intends to return to Korea to escape criminal prosecution, Mirano said, and a hold departure order is needed to prevent him from doing so.

Kim was the one who sought the help of Bacolod NBI agents in serving a search warrant for illegal possession of firearms on Korean businessman Ha Hae Bong in Pamplona town Saturday. The incident led to the beating up of the NBI team members allegedly by Negros Oriental policemen and civilians.

NBI Bacolod chief Philip Pecache yesterday said he does not know where Kim is.*CPG
