SKYCable, "the Biggest Show on Air," has
launched its newest and most exciting all Filipino-dubbed anime
channel "Hero," a SKYCable press release said yesterday.
Shows include Voltes V, Combattler V, Iron Man 28,
Shaider, Naruto, Beyblade, Gate Keepers, Gundam Seed, Mirmo de Pon,
Masumet, Machine Robo Rescue, Barom One, Yakitake! Japan and D.I.C.E,
among others.
Featured presentations are anime films Dragons: Fire
and Ice, Metropolis, Cowboy Bebop the Movie, AniMYX, Hall of Heroes
and Anime 101, Bakit Kuya?, the press release added.*

Cueshe band to
hold Bacolod concert
A concert called "Cueshe Live in Bacolod"
featuring the Cueshe Band will be held at 7 p.m. tomorrow at the
University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Amphitheater in Bacolod
City, a press release from organizers said yesterday.
At noon, the band composed of Ruben Caballero, Jay
Justiniani, Mike Manaloto, Jovan Mabini, Jhunjie Dosdos and Fritz
Labrado will have lunch at Shakey's Pizza at Robinson's Place and
at 4 p.m., they will be at the Gaisano City Supermall, it also said.
Proceeds of the concert will go to the Canetown Catholic
Church in Victorias City, Negros Occidental, the press release added.*
