Woman robbed

A woman canceled her trip to a northern area in Oriental Negros when three unidentified young men on board a motorcycle held her up at about 4:30 a.m. Saturday at Rizal Boulevard, in Dumaguete City.

Police identified the victim as Hyacinth Dawn del Monte, of San Jose Extension, Dumaguete.
Del Monte said she was sitting on a concrete bench at the boulevard while waiting for a bus ride to the north, when, a motorcycle with three young men whose faces were covered stopped in front of her.

She said the backrider disembarked, approached her and declared a hold-up.

Del Monte said she was forced to give her traveling bag containing clothes and other important items.
She, however, was able to take down the plate number of the motorcycle which is now subject of a police manhunt operation for the arrest of the suspects.*RG
