An 18-year-old resident of Brgy. Masaling, Cauayan
town, Negros Occidental, who had been confined at the Corazon Locsin
Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City for pulmonary
tuberculosis is seeking the help of DAILY STAR readers for his continued
medication.
Anthony Lacson was brought to the hospital on January
19 due to difficulty in breathing but he has not taken all the medicines
prescribed by the doctor because of financial constraints, his mother,
Norma, 40, a vegetable vendor, said.
She said her income that of her husband, Lemy, 44, as a farmer,
are not enough to buy the medicines for Anthony.
She added that Anthony, their fourth child, had to
quit school as a junior student at one high school in their town
because of his illness.*
