The two Korean nationals, whose conflict with each other had led to the trip of National Bureau of Investigation agents to Pamplona town in Negros Oriental, where they were allegedly beaten up by policemen and civilians Saturday, are both facing numerous complaints before the Bacolod City Prosecutor's Office.

Pastor Kim Seong Kook of Villa Angela Subdivision, Bacolod City, who sought the help of the NBI against Korean businessmen Ha Hae Bong of Pamplona town, Negros Oriental, is facing rape and acts of lasciviousness cases filed against him by members of his congregation, Alex Mirano, the lawyer of the complainants, confirmed yesterday.moremoremore

Multiple charges will be filed today against agents of the Bacolod National Bureau of Investigation and their companions who served a search warrant against a Korean businessman in Pamplona town Saturday.

NBI Bacolod chief Philip Pecache yesterday called the charges a move to divert the issue away from the fact that his men and their companions were beaten up.

Lawyer Joel Llosa yesterday said he is filing charges against the NBI agents and their companions in behalf of businessman Ha Hae Bong and other civilians who were affected by their actions.moremoremore

Other Talisay gov't personalities
eyed for drug use too, PDEA says
BY GUILLERMO TEJIDA III

There are other personalities in the Talisay City, Negros Occidental, government hooked on illegal drugs, aside from the two high-ranking officials arrested recently by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.

But Insp. Joemarie Occeño, who led the PDEA team that arrested acting Talisay treasurer Levi Doronila at his office at the Talisay City Hall in November last year, and General Services Office head Archibald Tuvilla Friday night - both for using shabu - refused to elaborate.

Occeño told the DAILY STAR through the phone last night that they will file charges against Tuvilla today before the Talisay City Prosecutor's Office, either for violation of section 5, or transporting, or section 11, for possession, of shabu both of which are punishable under Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.moremoremore
