19 qualify for interview for
scholarship program

Nineteen applicants for the Negros Occidental Scholarship Program from District III have qualified for interview at the SP Office, Provincial Capitol, Bacolod City tomorrow, a Capitol press release said yesterday.

The applicants for the Pagkaon Scholarship Program are Jun Dave Labinghesa of the Doņa Monserat Lopez Memorial High School and Kristy Mae Lusis of the Rafael B. Lacson Memorial High School.

For the District Education Program qualified applicants for interview are Dalisay Jambongana of St. Theresita's Academy; Razel Justado and Glenny Lidres of Doņa Montserrat Lopez MHS; Dyeree Roldan of Silay Institute; Kenneth Delos Santos of Dr. Antonio A. Lizares MHS; Jun Ray Donayre of Rafael B. Lacson MHS; Prince Panilla of Negros Occidental High School; Christine Marie Chisno and Juysis Jallorina of Negros Occidental Science High School; Lalaine Jarder of Victorias National High School; Yonalyn Mendoza of Victorias National High School - Gaston Ext., and Ronnie Velez of Cansilayan National High School.

For the Negros Occidental Provincial Medical and Nursing Scholarship Program, required to come for interview are Jun Jasper Lima and Melissa Monteza of Doņa Montserrat Lopez MHS; John Patrick Glaraga and Karl Marie Tuvilla of CHMSC - High School; and Angelene Martinez of Negros Occidental Science High School.

The programs aim to provide opportunities for poor but deserving youth to acquire free tertiary education as part of the Seven-Point Priority Agenda of the Provincial Government under Gov. Joseph Maraņon, the press release said.*
