SJI eyes fourth win

Pacesetter St. John's Institute aims to extend its winning streak to four games when it takes on Colegio de San Agustin-Bacolod in the NOPSSCEA aspirants boys' basketball tournament at 3:30 p.m. today at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Gym in Bacolod City.

The SJI cagers, who are fresh from victories against Bacolod Christian Education Center School and St. Augustine International School last week, are expected to rely on point-guard Raymond Lacson and Mark Uy for their offensive attack.

West Negros College goes for its second win when it battles University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos Bacolod at 9:15 a.m., before Bacolod Tay Tung High School collides with Mansilingan Christian Academy at 10:30 a.m.

Defending champion University of St. La Salle guns for its third straight victory when it clashes with SAIS at 2:15 a.m., after St. Rose of Lima School tussles with UNO-R Talisay at 1 p.m.

A battle between winless squads BCECS and St. Benilde School will be showcased in the last game at 4:45 p.m. *CIT
