Court issues arrest
orders for two cops

Two policemen are now in hot water with arrest warrants issued against them by Silay City Regional Trial Court judge Reynaldo Alon for carnapping.

Sr. Insp. Samuel Mina, acting Silay police chief, yesterday identified the two policemen as PO1 Sandrex Pasco and PO1 Jose Daliarte.

Pasco, a resident of Silay City is presently assigned at the Victorias PNP station, while Daliarte is a member of the Don Salvador Benedicto Police Station.

Alon has recommended bail of P180,000 each for the two. Police investigation show that Daliarte and Pasco allegedly sold the cannibalized cargo truck of Eduardo Boyson in Sitio Cabay Barangay Guinhalaran Silay City two years ago, to a junk shop after making a deed of sale, without concurrence of the owner.

Mina said a copy of the arrest warrant for Pasco has already been forwarded to the Victorias Police Station. Another copy has been furnished to the Silay PNP Station.

As of last night, Daliarte and Pasco had yet to give themselves up to their superior officer.

Pasco was not at his residence in Silay City last night when he was visited by his colleagues from the Victorias Police Station.*GPB
