donate blood

The Philippine National Red Cross collected more than 40 bags of blood from members of the Philippine National Police in Oriental Negros in a blood-letting activity held yesterday in Aga-an, Sibulan town.

The activity was part of the yearly "Dugo Para sa Bayan" program of the provincial police to mark the Philippine National Police Day scheduled Thursday next week.

Police provincial director, Senior Supt. Melvin Ramon Buenafe, who led the blood donors encouraged Negrenses to also donate their blood to the Red Cross.

On their PNP Day celebration, outstanding police units and personnel will be given awards.*JG
