Call center accepting retirees
BY MARICAR ARANAS

A call center in Dumaguete City is encouraging retirees to work as part-time employees, its site manager Mel Montaņo said.

He said TeleTech is now accepting retirees to work as part-timers at least 20 hours a week.

There are at least 10 percent of 40-year-old and above applicants who were hired by the company.

Montaņo said they found out that retirees are reliable, professional and good examples for the younger employees.
