Power consumers in Bacolod City and Silay City will experience
service interruptions on Sunday, Aug. 27, as the Central Negros
Electric Cooperative, Inc. and Transco will conduct preventive maintenance
work over the weekend.
Portions of Reclamation Feeder 1, covering Mabini, Rizal,
Galo and 12th-Lacson Streets, will experience as nine-hour brownout,
from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., a CENECO press release said.
Fifteen-minute interruptions, from 8 to 8:15 a.m. and 4:45
to 5 p.m., will also be experienced by consumers in the San Sebastian-Dawis
area; San Juan Street, from Thunderbugs to Gonzaga Street; portion
of City Hall facing Luzuriaga; Plaza Mart, Mabini Street, from CENECO
to Galo; Galo Street, from Mabini to Gatuslao; Gatuslao Street,
from Burgos to Rizal Street; Locsin Street, from Galo to Rizal;
Nueva Street, McDonald's;
PNB, DBP, Traders Royal Bank, Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial
Regional Hospital, Cordova Road, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th Streets,
portions of 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Streets.
CENECO said an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. brownout will also be experienced
by Silaynons covered under the Lopez (Silay) Feeders.
Lopez Feeder 1 covers Caneland (AIDSISA); LF2, major portions
of Silay, including poblacion up to Gomez Street, Barangay Guimbalaon
and Mansiguinon; LF3, Central Hawaiian, Barangay Balaring, Sitio
Bungol, Sitio Mambag-id, Sitio Beraņo and Barangay Lantad.
CENECO advised member-consumers to make necessary preparations
to avoid undue inconvenience during the power interruptions.
The schedule may be changed without prior notice subject to
unforeseen circumstances, CENECO added.
