Environment-friendly barangay,
school search launched by PEMO

The Negros Occidental government, through the Provincial Environment Management Office, announced the staging of the 4th Search for Most Environment-Friendly Barangays and Schools, a PEMO press release said.

The categories in this year's search are city upland/urban barangay; city coastal barangay; city elementary school; municipal upland/urban barangay; municipal coastal barangay; and municipal elementary school.

Each local government unit is allowed a maximum of three official entries for each category, the press release said.

Deadline for submission of entries to the Screening and Evaluation Committee will be Sept. 9 through the PEMO, located at the North Capitol Road, Bacolod City.
