Bacolod Rep. Monico Puentevella yesterday said former solon Mark Jimenez called him to warn him to watch his back.

He said Jimenez told him he was being asked for money by some politicians from Bacolod, who could not be trusted.

Puentevella, however, did not say if the warning was in connection with the 2007 Bacolod congressional race.

Jimenez has been a friend of mine in Congress and is wiser than what these people think, he said, but did not name the people he was referring, too.*
