play the guitar
BY CHRISTIAN IRL TAN

These three Lin-ay Sang Negros 2006 bets play the guitar.

Ms. EB Magalona Azela Ruth Gelico, Ms. Cauayan Esa Marie Kristine Balsomo and Ms. San Enrique Lindzy Tolenes said they love playing the guitar because the music it produces soothes them.

The 18-year-old Gelico said she also likes to create poems and dance. I am a friendly person so it is easy for me to adjust to my fellow contestants, she added.

Gelico, who stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 132 pounds, measures 32-27-32 and ½. She is currently taking up Computer Systems and Network Technology at the LaSaltech Computer Training Center.

Gelico, who was once a Sangguniang Kabataan Queen, is the daughter of Eduardo and Daylin Gelico.

Tolenes, a 16-year-old graduate of San Enrique National High School, also likes singing and dancing. She has joined beauty pageants such as the Miss United Nations '03 and Festival Queen '06.

Tolenes stands 5 feet 2 inches and weighs 100 lbs. Her vital statistics are 30 and ½-25-34 and ½.

Ms. San Enrique, daughter of Ricardo and Daisy Tolenes, said she joined the pageant because she wants to gain more self-confidence.

The 17-year-old Balsomo, who just graduated for Guiljungan National High School, said she decided to participate in the contest to gain self-confidence and find new friends.

Balsomo stands 5 feet 2 inches and weighs 90 lbs. Her vital statistics are 28 and ½-23-32 and ½. She is also the winner of the Hiyas Sg Lubay-Lubay 2005.
