A Bata resident tagged as No. 1 in the list of the Most-Wanted Persons of Police Precinct 3 was apprehended by the Bacolod police at his residence in Purok Pinetree, Brgy. Bata, in the city at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, for murder.

No bail was set for Ricky Mucon Adurias, 29, who was also tagged as No. 12 in the list of the Most Wanted Persons in the entire city, Coronica said.

Adurias was arrested by BCPO personnel led by Senior Insp. Joeresty Coronica on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Roberto Chiongson of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 50 for killing a barangay tanod in Brgy. Bata.

He had also been accused of malicious mischief, Coronica added.

He said Adurias attempted to shoot PO2 Aries Escarda, a Precinct 3 operative with a 12-gauge improvised shotgun, locally known as "sumpak", but the gun malfunctioned.*DMG
