The Gaisano 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament fires off at 2:30 p.m. today at the Gaisano City Mall Basement Area in Bacolod City.

Shortly after the opening, University of St. La Salle Nursing-A takes on Living Heritage Christian Academy-B in Bracket A to be followed Bacolod Tay Tung High School-A against Duke.

Following the Bracket A encounters are St. John's Institute-A battling Shohoku in Bracket B, while defending champion West Negros College collides with Paglaum Village. Other teams that will compete in Bracket A of the tournament that has adopted a single round robin format are SJI-B, Emarken, Tay Tung Alumni and USLS.

Also joining in Bracket B are BTTHS-B, USLS Nursing-B, Bacolod Christian Education Center School, Cadiz and LHCA-A. Tournament manager Rolando "Jack" Maraņon, regional commissioner of the Basketball Association of the Philippines, said the top two teams in each bracket will advance to the crossover semifinals. *CIT
