Monico
Cup opens today

The 2006 edition of the Monico Cup Inter-Barangay Summer Basketball Tournament takes centerstage at 8 a.m. today at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Activity Center in Bacolod City.
Three games will be played shortly after the opening ceremonies that will be keynoted by Philippine Sports Commission chairman William "Butch" Ramirez, tournament chairman Nicky Puentevella said.
The final schedule of the games of the two-month tournament
will also be revealed after the opening rites, he said.
