Sharp bowlers
earn twice-to-beat edge

Sharp Phils. enjoys a twice-to-beat advantage just like Urban Knights and Lady Dragon as the Knights of Columbus Invitational Open Bowling Championship resumes tonight at the New Top's Millennium Plaza Bowling Alley in Bacolod City.

The Irnie Diaz-led Sharp pinshooters are favorites to bring home the coveted crown after topping the elimination phase with 12,584 pinfalls. But they will face formidable challengers like Barangay I Active Solid Strikers, headed by Capt. Sammy Gaitan, and TC Silverado Solid Strikers of Edgar Allan del Rosario. Came time is 6 p.m.

Fighting for the class B title are Urban Knights, Bago City Bowlers Association/Plaza Arcade and NPBC/LJP Trading Tough Trucks, while Lady Dragon, Lady Circle and ON-BACIBA battle for the women's crown.

Condura, K of C Mulo Air, K of C Sharp, Firefly, Lady Dragon 2 and Team Justice failed to make it to today's final showdown.*HLG
