Precinct 8 tops BCPO
1st quarter evaluation
Police Precinct 8 topped the Bacolod City police
office over-all performance evaluation rating in the first quarter
of 2006, while Police Precinct 1, a consistent "best of the best"
precinct in 2004 and 2005, swerved to third rank in the same
quarter. Precinct 8 headed by Insp. Danilo Francisco bested other
police stations by garnering 891 total points in police community
relations, operations, intelligence, investigation, human resource,
doctrine and development, logistics, personnel, resource development,
plans, controller and perception survey, a police record obtained
by the DAILY STAR yesterday showed.
Precinct 5 headed by Senior Insp. Rolando Valebia
ranked No. 2 with 883 total points, followed by Police Precinct
1 headed by Chief Insp. Jimmy Fortaleza - third, Precinct 4 headed
by Senior Insp. Ulysses Ortiz - fourth; Precinct 9 led by Insp.
Augustos Buenaventura- fifth; Precinct 7 led by Insp. Rei Gumban
- sixth; and Precinct 2 headed by Insp. Levy Pangue - seventh rank;
Police Precinct 10 headed by Insp. Adonis Rosales - eighth; City

Bacolod City police director Senior Supt. Pedro
Merced yesterday said he expected that Precinct 2 will top this
quarter's performance evaluation for its active performance in solving
crime incidents in its area for the last two months, however, it
got the lowest score in the HRDD.
Precinct 8 performed well in police operations and
investigation, Merced said, adding that the reshuffling of personnel
which he implemented earlier has affected the police performance.
He said the results of the performance evaluation will be forwarded
to the Philippine Regional Office 6.*DMG
