Another fetus, about a day old was found by a scavenger in a dumpsite in Brgy. Felisa, Bacolod City, at about 8:30 a.m. yesterday.

Consuelo Paderna, 69, who lives in a shanty at the dumpsite area in the barangay, reported to Police Precinct 10 that she found a dead baby wrapped in a bloodied white underwear. She said she was digging in the garbage from a dump truck of the Department of Public Services from Mambuloc, Brgy. 10, when she accidentally found the shoebox with the baby, police reports said.

The baby girl was white in complexion and her umbilical cord had not been cut, Police Officer 2 Jonathan Guillena, of Police Precinct 10 yesterday told the DAILY STAR in a phone interview.

Guillena said they buried the baby girl at the Handumanan public cemetery at about 11 a.m. yesterday.

Thursday, two fetuses, about five and seven months old, were found by five minors fishing in a pond at the Bacolod police office compound.*DMG
