Fourteen crowns are up for grabs in the Central Negros Electric
Cooperative, Inc. Inter-Color Sportsfest that will begin with a
parade at 8 a.m. today from the Provincial Capitol Lagoon to the
Bacolod Arts and Youth Center.
About 400 athletes will vie for the championships in the
men and women's categories of basketball, volleyball bowling, darts,
badminton and billiards, while one title is at stake in modified
table tennis and cheering competition.
The employees will be divided into the Red, Blue, Yellow and
Green teams.
The cheering competition and the search for Mr. and Ms. CENECO
Sportsfest will follow the opening rites at the BAY Center that
will be attended by Rep. Monico Puentevella, sportsfest chairman
Roel Venus said.
The tournament dubbed "Sa Obra Kag Sinadya, Upadanay Kita!" will
run up to December, he added. *CIT
