IT Asian gab held in Cebu

The 4th Asian Forum for International Technology on the theme "IT Professional Human Resource Development and National IT Promotion Status" that started Wednesday at the Plantation Bay Resort and Spa in Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu ended yesterday.

About 70 delegates from 19 Asian countries participated in the event that aimed at promoting active information exchange and technological advances in information and communication technology among senior officials of government IT organizations.

Discussions will focus on the qualification and technical ability of IT professionals who are expected to share the experiences, trends, problems encountered, and best practices of their respective countries.

The Commission on Information and Communications Technology and the National computer Center were the lead agencies in the forum.*RG
