The Registration and Licensing officer of the National Food Authority
in Oriental Negros was chosen as the Best NFA Employee in Central
Visayas for 2004.
Elizabeth Guirit Delfino bested the other nominees from several
NFA offices in Region 7, due to her 30 years of outstanding work
performance and significant contributions, NFA information officer
Rolando Lazalita, said in a press release.
Delfino was also cited for her dedication and contribution
to the continued good relationship between the grains agency and
the businessmen and millers in the province, by going out of her
way to ensure that stakeholders are updated on the various programs
of NFA.
The Grains Retailers Confederation in Oriental Negros, and
the Millers Association of Oriental Negros, awarded Delfino with
certificates of appreciation.
She also received P3,000 in cash, a plaque of recognition, and
a free travel to Vietnam, the press release added.*RG
