10-Under cage tilt on

The Bacolod Tay Tung High School and the Trinity Christian School open campaigns when they take on separate rivals in the Basketball Unified Sports Group 10-Under Tournament at the Negros Occidental Multi-Purpose Gym in Bacolod City today.

Trinity will collide with the St. Rose of Lima School at 9 a.m., before BTTHS battles the Mansilingan Christian Academy at 10:30 a.m.

League organizer Bing Soyao will give the welcoming remarks, while commissioner Melvin Baclay will formally open the tournament that will adopt a single round-robin format.

The top four squads will advance to the do-or-die semifinal matches where the top seed faces the fourth seed as the second seed clashes with the third seed.

A selection of muses will follow shortly after the opening ceremonies with the best muse receiving a trophy and P1,000 from the organizers.

On Sunday, MCA will play STROLS at 8:30 a.m., before Tay Tung meets TCS.

Other teams competing in the 10-Under event are the University of St. La Salle-A and B, St. John's Institue-A and B, La Consolacion College-Gardenville, and Victorias City-based Don Bosco Technical Institute. *CIT
