NPC bets prevail

Negros Press Club defeated Kapisanan Ng Mga Broadcaster Sa Pilipinas, 1,380-1,344, in a three-game series during the KBP Week Friendship Bowling Tournament at the Lopue's East Bowling Center in Bacolod City.

The NPC pintopplers, who lost 460-476 in the first outing, bounced back in the second game, 493-489, and clinched the win with a 427-379 victory.

Playing for the NPC Team were Henceboy Cestina, Cyrus Garde, Mae Maraņon, and Weena Magturo. Cestina took the highest pinning award with 90 pinfalls, while Maraņon registered the women's single and triple with 116 and 299 balls. KBP bet, Boy Duran established the men's highest single and triple records with 134, and 349.*HLG
