Weekend brownouts set

A nine-hour brownout is scheduled today in some areas of Alijis in Bacolod City to facilitate a preventive maintenance work, a press release from the Central Negros Electric Cooperative said.

Affected areas under Alijis Feeder 3 are those along the Circumferential Road to Barangay Handumanan and Gimena Road, going to Grandville Subdivision and Regent Pearl Homes.

On Sunday, two 15-minute brownouts are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. and from 4:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. also to conduct preventive maintenance work for Bacolod-Reclamation 69KV transmission lines, the press release said. Affected areas are those under Reclamation Feeders 1, 2 and 3 and Aljis Feeders 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8.
