YBAC, DUPROS
split encounters

The 40-Up squad of YBAC subdued a feisty Dumaguete Professionals squad, 59-50, during an invitational game at the Don Bosco Gym in Dumaguete City.

Herman Caņete powered YBAC's balanced offensive attack as he poured in 16 points to lift his team past Dupros, which had a slim 28-26 lead at halftime.

YBAC, however, did not have the same fate in the 35-Up category as it absorbed a 79-76 setback against the Dumaguete cagers.

Backstopping Caņete was Cezar Garcia, who canned 12 points, while Romeo Pacheco and Nelson Siaco chipped in 10 points each. Al Rosal added 6 points.

In the 35-Up match, YBAC's offense was anchored by Ramil Jaype as he scored 18 points.

Boyet Ello and Dods Siopan picked up 15 and 14 points, respectively, while George Arca added 10 markers.

YBAC is headed by its president Jun Ballesteros, while Eduardo Desabelle and Joenel Anico act as the club's vice-president and secretary, respectively. *CIT
