An international insurance company will open its local branch in Bacolod City on Dec. 21 at the Robinson's Metro-Bacolod.

A press release from City Hall said that BJ Joseph Legaspi, GP Assistant Vice President disclosed that Generali Pilipinas will hire more than 100 Bacoleños at the start of their operation in the city.

Generali Pilipinas, in cooperation with the office of Mayor Evelio Leonardia, will treat 180 street children in Bacolod City to a children's Christmas party at McDonald's at Lacson Street. The activity dubbed as "Pamaskua sang Generali sa mga Kabata-an sang Bacolod," is a show of support for the children's program of Leonardia.

The Christmas party will be facilitated by the offices of Executive Assistant Nestor Sembrano and Social Services and Development head Linda Ablanque.*
