Pagunsan, who will see action for the country as an amateur for the last time, will lead the RP golf team's bid against the best teams in Southeast Asia to bring home the Putra Cup for the first time in nine years.

The RP squad that grabbed the crown was composed of Antonio Lascuņa, Richard Sinfuego, Bacoleņo Rey Pagunsan and Gerard Cantada.

WV Prisaa
technical meeting slated

A technical meeting for the coaches, trainers and tournament managers of the Western Visayas Private Schools and Athletic Association will be held on Dec. 18 at the University of St. La Salle College Covered Court in Bacolod City.

In the agenda of the meeting are the schedule of events and format of the games, Roger Banzuela, chairman of the WV PRISAA technical committee, said.

Banzuela, who also serves as the Region VI PRISAA athletic manager, said that most likely, the organizing committee would still use the same game formats in the previous regional meets.
